A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma P. O’Neil Sullivan was born to work in the oil and gas industry.

O’Neil’s father was a geophysicist and during the summer months O’Neil grew up in the fields and pastures of Oklahoma helping his father oversee seismic surveys. He helped lay the lines, blast the caps and read the maps. O’Neil has been with BETA Land Services for nearly 20 years. He attended college at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and has been a resident of Lafayette for the past 22 years. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. O’Neil is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) and the Lafayette Association of Professional Landmen (LAPL). During his time with BETA, O’Neil has worked in several states across the U.S. including Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Ohio, Mississippi, Wyoming, North Dakota and Pennsylvania. O’Neil has successfully led over 200 brokers throughout his career as a professional Landman and he has managed and completed more than $15 Billion in acquisitions for numerous companies both onshore and offshore. Most recently, he managed the $7 Billion merger of two large companies in the Permian Basin. Currently, O’Neil is working on two Carbon Capture and Sequestration projects in Louisiana. He specializes in Due Diligence Projects, Lease Plays, Right of Way, Offshore Acquisition, CCS, Area Checks and Interested Parties Lists.
